Happy Birthday?

"Happy Birthday?" is a very personal project for me, zine made from letters I've written to myself on my birthday every year since I was teenager. My direction was to keep the design raw and honest, so I leaned into an analog style using light blue envelopes, typewriter text, and my own childhood drawings. I wanted to turn these private reflections into a physical diary you can actually hold. A messy, beautiful timeline of growing up and learning how to celebrate yourself. Ultimately, it's a gift to myself, a collection of words and wishes that only you can truly give to yourself.
